    In Friday's league match, the host Grimsley Whirlies football squad scored a big 56-0 victory over the Southeast Guilford Falcons.

    In their next game, the Whirlies clash with the Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 4A match, on Friday, September 22. Grimsley will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 3-1 record after their 52-0 league win over Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC).

    The Falcons (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Nighthawks enter the Metro 4A match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Northern Guilford was crushed by Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC), 22-20, in a league match.
