In Friday's non-league match, the host Hammond Tornadoes football squad scored a good 32-10 victory over the South Terrebonne Gators.
In their next game, the Tornadoes clash with the Fontainebleau Bulldogs (Mandeville, LA) in a 5A District 6 match, on Friday, September 22. Hammond will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 2-1 record after their 22-21 non-league win over Franklinton (Franklinton, LA).
The Gators (0-3) will now prepare for their match against South Lafourche (Galliano, LA). The Tarpons enter the 4A District 7 match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, South Lafourche thwarted Central Lafourche (Raceland, LA), 48-14, in a non-league match.
