The Hillcrest Rams football squad scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Powdersville Patriots to 14 in the Rams non-league victory on Friday.

The Rams now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wren for a non-league battle on Friday, September 22. Hillcrest will play a Hurricanes squad coming off a 28-7 non-league loss to James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC). The Hurricanes record now stands at 1-3.

Coming up next, the Patriots play the Belton-Honea Path Bears (Honea Path, SC) in a AAA Region 2 battle, on Friday, September 29. Powdersville will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record.
