The Hilmar Yellowjackets thwarted the visiting Pitman Pride football team by a count of 24-14 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Hilmar upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Livingston (Livingston, CA) to encounter the Wolves in a Trans Valley League outing on Friday, September 29. The Wolves go into the outing with a record of 1-4. Livingston lost 42-13 in their recent non-league outing against Sonora (Sonora, CA)

With the loss, Pitman moves to 1-4 on the season. The Pride host Downey (Modesto, CA) to encounter the Knights in a Central California - CCAL outing on Friday, September 29. The Knights go into the outing with a record of 4-1. Downey lost 43-13 in their recent non-league outing against Tracy (Tracy, CA)
