North Carolina High School Football - Hoggard smashes North Brunswick

September 15, 2023: Wilmington, NC 28403

The Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) football routed the visiting North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC), 52-0 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Vikings face the Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A bout, on Friday, September 22. Hoggard will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Buccaneers enter the bout with a 3-1 record after their 40-13 league win over Ashley (Wilmington, NC).

The Scorpions (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Cougars enter the Mideastern 3A/4A bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, South Brunswick was overwhelmed by New Hanover (Wilmington, NC), 52-20, in a league bout.
