North Carolina High School Football - Holmes overwhelms Manteo

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) and the visiting Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC), observed Holmes's football squad bounce Manteo by a count of 63-8.

The Aces now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Northeastern for a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal contest on Friday, September 22. Holmes will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 72-7 league win over First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 4-0.

Coming up next, the Redskins encounter the First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal contest, on Friday, September 22. Manteo will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Nighthawks go into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 72-7 league loss to Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC).
