The Rapid City Central Cobblers football team (Rapid City, SD), was ripped 41-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Jefferson Cavaliers (Sioux Falls, SD)

The Cavaliers (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mitchell (Mitchell, SD). The Kernels come into the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Mitchell was ripped by Aberdeen Central (Aberdeen, SD), 21-6, in a league challenge.

The Cobblers now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Washington for a Eastern South Dakota - AAA challenge on Friday, September 22. Rapid City Central will meet a Warriors team coming off a 41-27 non-league loss to Watertown (Watertown, SD). The Warriors record now stands at 1-3.
