The Kettering Captains football team (Waterford, MI), was tipped 31-28 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI)
The Cougars (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Mott (Waterford, MI). The Corsairs come into the Lakes Valley challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Mott nipped Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI), 47-20, in a non-league challenge.
The Captains now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln-King Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 22. Kettering will meet a team coming off a 50-14 non-league loss to Parkway Christian (Sterling Heights, MI). The record now stands at 1-3.
