In Friday's non-league match, the host Lake Washington Kangaroos football squad scored a good 17-6 victory over the Newport - Bellevue Knights.

In their next game, the Kangaroos clash with the Hazen Highlanders (Renton, WA) in a 3A KingCo match, on Friday, September 22. Lake Washington will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Highlanders enter the match with a 2-1 record after their 45-14 league win over Juanita (Kirkland, WA).

The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Liberty (Issaquah, WA). The Patriots enter the 3A KingCo match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Liberty dropped by Bellevue (Bellevue, WA), 35-7, in a league match.
