The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Spring Hill Raiders (Columbia, TN) and the host Lawson Lightning (Nashville, TN), witnessed Spring Hill's football squad notch a victory over Lawson by a margin of 27-14.
In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Lawrence County Wildcats (Lawrenceburg, TN) in a 5A Region 5 match, on Friday, September 22. Spring Hill will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 2-3 record after their 31-0 league loss to Columbia Central (Columbia, TN).
The Lightning (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Hillsboro (Nashville, TN). The Burros enter the 5A Region 6 match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Hillsboro thwarted Kenwood (Clarksville, TN), 42-14, in a non-league match.
