The Waldron Spartans football team (Waldron, MI), was ripped 56-6 in Friday's league challenge with the host Lenawee Christian Cougars (Adrian, MI)

The Cougars (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Tekonsha (Tekonsha, MI). The Indians come into the Southern Michigan - East (8 Man) challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Tekonsha was ripped by Camden-Frontier (Camden, MI), 50-20, in a league challenge.

The Spartans now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pittsford for a Southern Michigan - East (8 Man) challenge on Friday, September 22. Waldron will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 48-8 league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-0.
