The Marlboro County Bulldogs (Bennettsville, SC) football defeated the host Ridgeland-Hardeeville Jaguars (Ridgeland, SC), 38-24 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Dillon Wildcats (Dillon, SC) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 22. Marlboro County will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 3-1 record after their 48-25 non-league win over Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC).

The Jaguars now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bethune-Bowman for a non-league game on Friday, September 22. Ridgeland-Hardeeville will meet a Mohawks team coming off a 34-14 non-league win over Military Magnet Academy (North Charleston, SC). The Mohawks record now stands at 1-3.
