In Friday's league match, the visiting McKenzie Tigers football squad scored a big 54-7 victory over the Pleasant Home Eagles.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Red Level Tigers (Red Level, AL) in a 1A Region 2 match, on Friday, September 22. McKenzie will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 1-3 record after their 40-35 league loss to Houston County (Columbia, AL).
