The Monroe County Tigers football team (Monroeville, AL), was ripped 48-12 in Friday's league challenge with the host W.S. Neal Eagles (East Brewton, AL)
The Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hillcrest (Evergreen, AL). The Jaguars come into the 3A Region 1 challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Hillcrest was ripped by Thomasville (Thomasville, AL), 33-13, in a league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mobile Christian for a 3A Region 1 challenge on Friday, September 22. Monroe County will meet a Leopards team coming off a 55-0 league win over Excel (Excel, AL). The Leopards record now stands at 4-0.
