In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Trumann Wildcats football squad scored a good 33-6 victory over the Newport Greyhounds.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Westside Warriors (Jonesboro, AR) in a 4A Region 3 match, on Friday, September 22. Trumann will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record.
The Greyhounds (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Quitman (Quitman, AR). The Bulldogs enter the 3A Region 2 match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Quitman dropped by Gentry (Gentry, AR), 63-40, in a non-league match.
