In Friday's league game, the Plainview Pirates (Plainview, NE) football team walloped the visiting North Central Knights (Bassett, NE), by a count of 48-6.

With the win, Plainview upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Pirates travel to Neligh-Oakdale (Neligh, NE) to encounter the Warriors in a D1 District 6 (8 Man) outing on Friday, September 22. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 1-3. Neligh-Oakdale lost 34-32 in their recent league outing against Elkhorn Valley (Tilden, NE)

With the loss, North Central moves to 0-4 on the season. The Knights host Lutheran-Northeast (Norfolk, NE) to encounter the Eagles in a D1 District 6 (8 Man) outing on Thursday, September 21. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 3-1. Lutheran-Northeast lost 38-24 in their recent league outing against Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] (Clearwater, NE)
