Nebraska High School Football - Thayer Central knocks off Palmyra

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Thayer Central Titans (Hebron, NE) and the host Palmyra Panthers (Palmyra, NE), observed Thayer Central's football squad thwart Palmyra by a count of 54-46.

The Titans now own a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Southern for a D1 District 2 (8 Man) contest on Friday, September 22. Thayer Central will play a Raiders squad coming off a 38-6 league loss to Johnson County Central (Tecumseh, NE). The Raiders record now stands at 2-2.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Exeter-Milligan/Friend (Exeter, NE) in a D1 District 2 (8 Man) contest, on Friday, September 22. Palmyra will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The go into the contest with a 3-1 record after their 60-6 league win over Freeman (Adams, NE).
