Texas High School Football - Pecos prevails Stanton

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Pecos Eagles (Pecos, TX) and the visiting Stanton Buffaloes (Stanton, TX), observed Pecos's football squad defeat Stanton by a count of 20-6.

The Eagles now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Seminole for a non-league contest on Friday, September 22. Pecos will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 34-26 non-league win over Andrews (Andrews, TX). The Indians record now stands at 4-0.

Coming up next, the Buffaloes encounter the San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy Eagles (San Angelo, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 22. Stanton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 51-36 non-league loss to Ingram Moore (Ingram, TX).
