In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Polo Marcos football squad scored a close 48-44 victory over the Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] Spartans.

In their next game, the Marcos clash with the River Ridge Wildcats (Hanover, IL) in a 8-Man North 2 (8 Man) match, on Friday, September 22. Polo will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 21-20 non-league win over Blue Ridge/DeLand-Weldon (Farmer City, IL).

The Spartans (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Amboy/LaMoille/Ohio (Amboy, IL). The enter the non-league match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Amboy/LaMoille/Ohio held off Quest Charter Academy (Peoria, IL), 40-0, in a league match.
