The Poston Butte Broncos held off the host Round Valley Elks football team by a final score of 20-18 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Poston Butte improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Broncos host Coconino (Flagstaff, AZ) to confront the Panthers in a non-league outing on Friday, September 22. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 2-1. Coconino lost 42-19 in their recent non-league outing against Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ)

With the loss, Round Valley moves to 1-3 on the season. The Elks host Show Low (Show Low, AZ) to confront the Cougars in a 3A East outing on Friday, September 22. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 1-3. Show Low lost 69-15 in their recent non-league outing against Paradise Honors (Surprise, AZ)
