The Comets now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to East Carter for a 3A District 6 contest on Friday, September 22. West Carter will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 46-36 non-league loss to Greenup County (Greenup, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 2-2.

Coming up next, the Pirates encounter the Fairview Eagles (Ashland, KY) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 22. Powell County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 36-12 non-league win over Green (Franklin Furnace, OH).
