The Prairie View Academy Spartans football squad scored 43 points and restricted the host River Oaks Mustangs to 22 in the Spartans non-league victory on Friday.

The Spartans now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tallulah Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, September 22. Prairie View Academy will play a Trojans squad coming off a 54-14 non-league win over Wilkinson County Christian Academy (Woodville, MS). The Trojans record now stands at 4-2.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Riverdale Academy Rebels (Coushatta, LA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 22. River Oaks will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Rebels enter the battle with a 4-1 record after their 58-12 non-league win over Claiborne Academy (Haynesville, LA).
