In Friday's league game, the Tiverton Tigers (Tiverton, RI) football team tipped the host Scituate Spartans (North Scituate, RI), by a final score of 13-6.

The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Hope (Providence, RI). The Blue Wave come into the Division IV game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Hope was tipped by Exeter-West Greenwich/Prout (West Greenwich, RI), 46-12, in a league game.

The Spartans now hold a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Providence for a Division IV game on Friday, September 22. Scituate will battle a Cougars team coming off a 21-8 league win over Central Falls/Blackstone Valley Prep/Achievement First (Central Falls, RI). The Cougars record now stands at 2-0.
