Pennsylvania High School Football - Selinsgrove trounces Shamokin Area

September 15, 2023: Coal Township, PA 17866

In Friday's league match, the visiting Selinsgrove Seals football squad scored a big 42-7 victory over the Shamokin Area Indians.

In their next game, the Seals clash with the Shikellamy Braves (Sunbury, PA) in a Heartland I match, on Saturday, September 23. Selinsgrove will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Braves enter the match with a 1-3 record after their 61-12 league loss to Jersey Shore (Jersey Shore, PA).

The Indians (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA). The Wildcats enter the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Central Mountain was crushed by Mifflinburg (Mifflinburg, PA), 43-33, in a league match.
