    The Wink Wildcats thwarted the visiting Sundown Roughnecks football team by a count of 28-8 in Friday's non-league outing.

    With the win, Wink upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Lamesa (Lamesa, TX) to encounter the Tornadoes in a non-league outing on Friday, September 22. The Tornadoes go into the outing with a record of 0-4. Lamesa lost 47-18 in their recent non-league outing against Littlefield (Littlefield, TX)

    With the loss, Sundown moves to 1-3 on the season. The Roughnecks host Roosevelt (Lubbock, TX) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league outing on Friday, September 22. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 3-1. Roosevelt won 30-0 in their recent non-league outing against Slaton (Slaton, TX)
