The Texas Tigers tipped the host Tyler Legacy Raiders football team by a final score of 17-14 in Friday's non-league test.
With the triumph, Texas improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Hallsville (Hallsville, TX) to battle the Bobcats in a 5A-2 Region II District 8 test on Friday, September 22. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 1-3. Hallsville lost 44-9 in their recent non-league test against Kilgore (Kilgore, TX)
With the loss, Tyler Legacy drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Raiders host Mesquite (Mesquite, TX) to battle the Skeeters in a 6A Region II District 10 test on Friday, September 22. The Skeeters come into the test with a record of 2-2. Mesquite won 35-17 in their recent non-league test against Lamar (Arlington, TX)
