Kentucky High School Football - Webster County topples Trigg County

The Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY) football defeated the visiting Trigg County Wildcats (Cadiz, KY), 64-48 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Trojans face the Hopkins County Central Storm (Madisonville, KY) in a 3A District 1 bout, on Friday, September 22. Webster County will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Storm enter the bout with a 2-3 record after their 50-28 league loss to Union County (Morganfield, KY).
The Wildcats (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Hancock County (Lewisport, KY). The Hornets enter the 3A District 1 bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Hancock County lost by Tell City (Tell City, IN), 47-20, in a non-league bout.
