Connecticut High School Football - Wolcott trounced by Woodland Regional

The Woodland Regional Hawks routed the host Wolcott Eagles football squad by a tally of 46-6 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Hawks face the Crosby Bulldogs (Waterbury, CT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 22. Woodland Regional will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 37-12 league win over Derby (Derby, CT).

The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Waterbury Career Academy (Waterbury, CT). The Spartans enter the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Waterbury Career Academy was overwhelmed by Oxford (Oxford, CT), 12-6, in a league bout.
