California High School Football - Willows gets by Anderson

September 15, 2023: Willows, CA 95988

The Willows Honkers football squad scored 20 points and limited the visiting Anderson Cubs to 16 in the Honkers non-league win on Friday.

The Honkers now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Orland for a non-league battle on Friday, September 22. Willows will play a Trojans squad coming off a 48-0 non-league win over Shasta (Redding, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-0.

Coming up next, the Cubs play the Red Bluff Spartans (Red Bluff, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 22. Anderson will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Spartans go into the battle with a 2-1 record after their 18-3 non-league win over Corning (Corning, CA).
