In Friday's non-league battle, the host Millbury Woolies volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Advanced Math & Science Academy Eagles.
The Woolies (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Tantasqua Regional (Fiskdale, MA). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record.
Next, the Eagles encounter the Wachusett Regional Mountaineers (Holden, MA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 18. Advanced Math & Science Academy will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record.
