The New Covenant Gryphons volleyball team (Lynchburg, VA), was nudged 2-1 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA)
The Chiefs (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA). The Flames enter the challenge with a 0-0 record.
Next, the Gryphons meet the Temple Christian Crusaders (Madison Heights, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 19. New Covenant will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record.
