The East Providence Townies held off the host Mt. Hope Huskies volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.

The Townies now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Raphael Academy for a non-league test on Monday, September 18. East Providence will confront a Saints team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, RI). The Saints record now stands at 0-2.

The Huskies (1-1) will now prepare for their test against St. Mary Academy-Bay View (East Providence, RI). The Bengals enter the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
