The Hilltop Christian Chargers held off the visiting Wilmington Christian Academy Patriots volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's league test.
The Chargers now have a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty Christian for a test on Tuesday, September 19. Hilltop Christian will confront a Patriots team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Wilson Christian Academy (Wilson, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 1-6.
The Patriots (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Liberty Christian Academy (Richlands, NC). The Heat enter the non-league test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Liberty Christian Academy was nudged by Harrells Christian Academy (Harrells, NC), 2-1, in a non-league test.
