Rocky Hill Country Day Mariners (East Greenwich, RI) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Lexington Christian Academy Lions (Lexington, MA), 12-3 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Mariners confront the St. Thomas More Chancellors (Oakdale, CT) in a Southeastern New England challenge, on Wednesday, September 20. Rocky Hill Country Day will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record.
The Lions now possess a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bancroft for a Eastern Independent challenge on Saturday, September 23.

Rocky Hill beat Lexington Christian Academy 12-3 on a blustery Friday afternoon in East Greenwich. The Mariners were on the front foot quickly with two early goals, and then responded well to Lexington pulling one back to take a commanding lead before halftime and leave the result in little doubt. Sophomore Vitor led the way with a hat trick, including a spectacular strike with his left foot when playing left back in the second half. Seniors John David O'Hara, Jake Krikorian, and sophomore Henry Putier each notched a brace.
