Adair Warriors (Adair, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Sperry Pirates (Sperry, OK), 6-5 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 26-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chouteau-Mazie for a non-league game on Friday, September 15. Adair will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Afton (Afton, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 22-4.

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Kansas Comets (Kansas, OK) in a 3A game, on Friday, September 15. Sperry will attempt to improve on its 15-14 season record. The Comets come into the game with a 18-19 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Afton (Afton, OK).
