Bremen Blue Devils (Bremen, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Blue Devils now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to LaFayette for a 3A Region 6 challenge on Monday, September 18.
With the loss, Oconee County falls to 2-13 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA) to face the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 15. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 10-7.
