The Academy of Our Lady of Peace Pilots held off the host Carlsbad Lancers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.

The Pilots now have a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Poway for a non-league test on Saturday, September 16. Academy of Our Lady of Peace will confront a Titans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Classical Academy (Escondido, CA). The Titans record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, Carlsbad moves to 13-4 on the year. The Lancers travel to Rancho Bernardo (San Diego, CA) to battle the Broncos in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 16. The Broncos go into the contest with a record of 9-9. Rancho Bernardo won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against La Jolla Country Day (La Jolla, CA)
