In Friday's non-league battle, the host Cesar Chavez Champions volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Agua Fria Owls.

The Champions (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ). The Jaguars come into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Boulder Creek achieved victory over West Point (Avondale, AZ), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Owls clash with the Youngker Roughriders (Buckeye, AZ) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 15. Agua Fria will attempt to advance on its 8-14 season record. The Roughriders come into the battle with a 1-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Washington (Phoenix, AZ).
