With the win, Alvord upgrades its record to 9-14 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Archer City (Archer City, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-11.

The Pirates now own a 2-14 record. They play next when they travel to Bellevue for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19. Petrolia will play a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Harrold (Harrold, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-18.
