Minnesota High School Volleyball - Benilde-St. Margaret's can't hold off Minneapolis Southwest

In Friday's non-league battle, the host Minneapolis Southwest Lakers volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights.
The Lakers (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Roosevelt (Minneapolis, MN). The Teddies come into the Minneapolis City battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Roosevelt was edged by Mounds Park Academy (St. Paul, MN), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Red Knights encounter the Edina Hornets (Edina, MN) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 18. Benilde-St. Margaret's will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Hornets come into the battle with a 5-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Wayzata (Plymouth, MN).
