The Como-Pickton Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Miller Grove Hornets to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now possess a 17-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rivercrest for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 19. Como-Pickton will meet a Rebels team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 14-10.
The Hornets (16-12) will now prepare for their game against Boles (Quinlan, TX). The Hornets enter the non-league game with a 2-8 record. In their last game, Boles was dropped by Greenville Christian (Greenville, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
