The East Jefferson Warriors volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Morris Jeff Community Pelicans to 0 in the Warriors non-league victory on Friday.

The Warriors now have a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren Easton for a non-league game on Saturday, September 16. East Jefferson will meet a Fighting Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over De La Salle (New Orleans, LA). The Fighting Eagles record now stands at 2-4.

The Pelicans (0-3) will now prepare for their game against New Orleans Charter Science & Math (New Orleans, LA). The Chambered Nautilus enter the game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, New Orleans Charter Science & Math dropped by Fisher (Lafitte, LA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
