The Gray-New Gloucester Patriots volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Nokomis Warriors to 1 in the Patriots league victory on Friday.
The Patriots now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cony for a Class B game on Tuesday, September 19. Gray-New Gloucester will meet a Rams team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Messalonskee (Oakland, ME). The Rams record now stands at 1-4.
The Warriors (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Maranacook (Readfield, ME). The Black Bears enter the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Maranacook dropped by Gardiner (Gardiner, ME), 3-0, in a non-league game.
