The Valley Christian Vikings volleyball team (Dublin, CA), was dropped 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Head-Royce Jayhawks (Oakland, CA)

The Jayhawks (12-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mission San Jose (Fremont, CA). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Mission San Jose defeated Newark Memorial (Newark, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Oakland Military Institute Grizzlies (Oakland, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 18. Valley Christian will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Summit Tamalpais (Richmond, CA).
