The The Nueva School Mavericks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Pinewood Panthers to 1 in the Mavericks non-league victory on Friday.

The Mavericks now have a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to University Prep Academy for a Private School - Bay game on Tuesday, September 19. The Nueva School will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit (San Jose, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 6-3.

The Panthers (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Crystal Springs Uplands (Hillsborough, CA). The Gryphons enter the West Bay - Skyline game with a 9-2 record. In their last game, Crystal Springs Uplands gained a win over Eastside College Prep (East Palo Alto, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
