The Taft Toreadors topped the host San Pedro Pirates volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Toreadors now have a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whitney for a non-league test on Friday, September 15. Taft will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league win over Artesia (Lakewood, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-8.
The Pirates (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Whitney (Cerritos, CA). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Whitney gained a win over Artesia (Lakewood, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
