Illinois High School Soccer - Lyons nudges Proviso East

In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Lyons Lions soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Proviso East Pirates.
The Lions (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Griffins come into the non-league test with a 0-2 record.
With the loss, Proviso East moves to 2-4 on the year. The Pirates travel to Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 17. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 1-2.
