Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Salpointe Catholic Lancers (Tucson, AZ) and the host Canyon del Oro Dorados (Tucson, AZ), observed Salpointe Catholic's volleyball team hold off Canyon del Oro by a tally of 2-1.

The Lancers (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Rincon/University (Tucson, AZ). The Rangers enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Rincon/University was edged by Cienega (Vail, AZ), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Dorados now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Casa Grande for a test on Thursday, September 18. Canyon del Oro will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Vista Grande (Casa Grande, AZ). The Cougars record now stands at 1-5.
