Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Magnificat Blue Streaks (Rocky River, OH) and the host Mentor Cardinals (Mentor, OH), observed Magnificat's volleyball team top Mentor by a tally of 2-0.

The Blue Streaks (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Archbishop Hoban was beaten by Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cardinals encounter the Cleveland Heights Tigers (Cleveland Heights, OH) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 16. Mentor will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record.
