In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Yorktown Patriots volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the St. John's Cadets.

With the win, Yorktown improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Patriots host Langley (McLean, VA) to face the Saxons in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. The Saxons go into the test with a record of 4-1. Langley won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Herndon (Herndon, VA)

The Cadets now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paul VI for a test on Wednesday, September 17.
